2 REPORTS FOR MILE 327:
Simonetal

Heard reports of glass floats being found; we found none. Very stormy, cold day. Few people out walking dogs or traveling the beach mile by vehicle.   MORE

Jan 13, 2008 12:00 AM

A bit more trash on the beach than usual, mixed with driftwood / seaweed, most likely washed in as a result of the heavy surf / high tides. The high water was tending to squeeze the pedestrians and the few cars on the beach into a narrow band against the dunes, requiring them to maneuver to avoid surf and each other. Noticed 2 bald eagles on posts fly off when someone parked within 50 yds and let out 3 dogs.   MORE
