DISPATCH FOR MILE 307 on 10/24/09   -   BALD EAGLE
LOCATIONClatsop  •  Cove Beach north, Arch Cape, Arch Cape Creek
CONDITIONSSaturday 10:30 AM
SUMMARYThere was no foam on the shoreline of mile 307. No dead birds. There were about 30 brown pelicans on Gull Rock (South end of mile 307). In the afternoon I walked from the Arcadia Wayside to Hug Point and there was none of the harmful foam. There was a little white foam. No dead birds. Later in that afternoon, I was in Ecola Park. I did not go on the beach but from the view points I didn't see any foam or dead birds on Cresent or Indian Creek beaches.
